稲田博範は、大阪を拠点に、バッグから洋服、雑貨、小さな家具などさまざまなプロダクトを提供するブランド、“Stich&Sew”のファウンダーであり、オーナー、かつブランド唯一のデザイナーです。彼のこれまでのプロダクトラインに追加するかたちで、真鍮のブロックから削り出されたウェイトのセットをデザインしました。小さな幾何学的彫刻のように見えて、このオブジェは充電ケーブルがテーブルから滑り落ちないようにするケーブルウェイトとして便利なプロダクト。製造をしているのは金物加工工場の昌栄工業で、工学的かつ完成されたプロダクトをつくる点で傑出している。[プロトタイプ]
Hironori Inada is not only the founder and owner, but also the sole designer at the independent Osaka based brand “Stich&Sew”, offering a variety of products from bags, fashion and home accessories to small furniture. As an addition of his product line, he designed a set of weights, milled from a solid block of brass. Appearing as tiny geometrical sculptures, the objects make themself useful as cable weights, preventing charging cables to slip off the table. They are produced by Shoei Kogyou, a metal processing firm that stands out for their aim to create perfectly engineered and finished products. [prototype]
