スイス人工業デザイナーであるカルロ・クロパスは、ローザンヌにある、ECAL/University of Art and Designで工業デザインを学んだのち、2012年よりデンマークのCecilie Manz’ Officeに在籍。翌2013年には、コペンハーゲンのアートワークショップ the Statens Værksteder for Kunstの在住アーティストに選出された。その後は、スイスのアルプスの村に自らのスタジオを構えて活動している。彼は、2014年、Swiss Federal Design Awardを受賞、そして2016年には the Swiss Design Awardにノミネートされた。

Carlo Clopath is a Swiss industrial designer. He studied at ECAL/University of Art and Design in Lausanne. In 2012 he worked at Cecilie Manz’ Office in Denmark. In 2013 he is artist in residence at the Statens Værksteder for Kunst (Danish Art Workshops) in Copenhagen. Subsequently he founded his studio in a village in the Swiss Alps. In 2014 he was awarded a Swiss Federal Design Award and was nominated for the Swiss Design Award in 2016.
